The project is a DBT/Medical Research Council, UK funded project for eighteen months. It is a three centre study with NIMHANS, Bengaluru, ARK foundation, Dhaka, Bangladesh; and University of Liverpool. This project involves qualitative formative research in order to develop an intervention to reduce second hand home smoke exposure in pregnancy and a pilot Randomized Controlled trial of the intervention. Data will be collected from community antenatal clinics and anganwadi centers.
