Key roles and Responsibility
​​1.  To  assist and advise  to the milk chain members the relevance of  proper hygiene & sanitation; the hygienic  methods to be adopted during milking and delivery to DCS/Pooling point, implementation of Standard Operating Procedures.
2. To guide and assist unions and producer organisations in implementing plans including Quality Management System for viable  milk handling and collection systems in rural areas which ensures receipt of good quality milk at dairy units.
3.  To assist unions/producer companies to implement quality management systems in the process units.
4.  To undertake assessment of milk processing units under quality audit  programme.
5.  To assist cooperative unions/producers companies comply with the requirements of new act and regulations and also take up the issues  affecting dairy sector with Food Regulatory Body ( such as standard setting etc).
6.  To manage and implement  data base system concerning infrastructure set up,  milk and milk products quality parameters etc in the country.
7.  To  impart training  to the members of  entire milk chain from production till marketing e.g., producers, DCS staff, procurement staff, dairy plant persons , marketing staff etc  on quality related aspects.
8.  To organise testing of milk and milk products in the assigned region.
Experience2 - year(s)
Qualificationi. The incumbent should be first class B Tech/B Sc in Dairy Technology followed by M Tech/M Sc in Dairy Technology/ Dairy Chemistry/Dairy Microbiology with first class from reputed institute and ii. The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in processing / milk product manufacturing section of a running milk processing unit. Candidates with exposure to management of Food Safety and Quality Management System and laboratory testing shall have added advantage.

  i.        Knowledge  of  milk quality attributes, factors affecting milk quality at production and at processing unit, manufacture of different milk  products.
   ii.        Knowledge of Quality Standards, food regulations in the country and testing operations

  iv.        Knowledge of  milk testing and cold chain at the procurement level in  the field.
   v.        Ability to use IT tools.

Jr. Engineering Assistant – IV (Power & Utilities)43 (Three) Years regular full time Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a Govt. recognized Indian university/Institute and possessing Boiler Competency Certificate with class as prescribed by the Boiler Authority of the State. However, in case of non-availability of sufficient number of candidates meeting the parameters prescribed above, candidates possessing the following qualification may also be considered, in order of preference as given below: 1. Matric with ITI (Fitter) with Boiler Competency Certificate (with class as may be prescribed by the Boiler Authority of the State). 2. Jr. Engineering Assistant – IV (Instrumentation)33 (Three) Years regular full time Diploma in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Electronics / Instrumentation and Control Engineering from a Govt. recognized Indian university/Institute. Prescribed Post Qualification Experience: Minimum one year post qualification experience in Maintenance of Modern Instrumentation control system like DCS,PLC with electronic field instrumentation , control valve, smart positioners , loop configuration, online analyzers condition monitoring, cabling, earthing etc. in a Petroleum Refinery/Petrochemicals /Heavy Chemical/ Fertilizers/Power Plants/ Oil & Natural Gas Exploration / *large industrial establishments. *Note : Large Industrial Establishment would mean industrial/manufacturing units whose investment in plant & machinery exceed Rs. 10 crores and which has been in operation. Copy of the relevant page of the last published Balance Sheet of the establishment shall be attached with the physical application under self-certification by the candidate.
Jr. Materials Assistant-IV #1Essential Educational Qualification: 3 (Three) Years regular full time Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation Engineering from a Govt. recognized Indian university/Institute. Prescribed Post Qualification Experience: Must have experience in operation & maintenance of an industry or handling various types of materials used in large industrial units. Note: Candidates possessing the prescribed qualification but without prescribed experience may also apply for this post. In the event of non-availability of sufficient no. of candidates with prescribed qualification and prescribed experience for this post, candidates with prescribed qualification but without prescribed experience will also be considered. Such candidates shall be considered for appointment as Trainee for a period of 18 months on a consolidated stipend of Rs.15,250/-p.m. Upon satisfactory completion of the training in the respective functional areas, they shall be absorbed in regular scale of pay of Rs.11,900-32,000.
Selection Procedure : 
  1. Candidates can apply on or before     26/02/2016 .
  2. Selection would be based on Written Test of 3 hours duration and Skill/ Proficiency/ Physical Test, the later being of ‘qualifying nature’ only. Every candidate will have to secure a minimum of 40% marks at each stage for qualifying the selection process, relaxable by 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD against reserved positions.
