Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the following research project funded by DST, Government of India,

under the supervision of Dr.Vijyant Agarwal, Principal Investigator, Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, Dwarka, New Delhi.

Title of the Research Project: “sRobotics: Preoperative planning system for surgical robotics with the integration of inverse kinematics using AI and Haptics”’

Name of the position available: Junior Research Fellow

Number of positions available: One

Essential qualifications: B.Tech. With first division and M.TECH. With first division in computers / electronics/ Mechanical / Instrumentation or allied branches.

Desirable skill: Programming knowledge in Matlab / C.

Salary: Rs. 18000 per month + 30% HRA (first two years) ; Rs. 20000 per month + 30% HRA

(after two years);

Benefits: Eligible candidate may be entitled to register for Ph.D program. Tuition fee may

be reimbursed by DST.

General Term and Condition:

The position is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three years. The position is coterminous with the project.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 40 years for Sr.No:1,3,6(ii,vi,v),7 Posts, 35 years for Sr.No:2,4,5,6(iii,iv) Posts, 40 years for SC Candidates and 38 years for OBC Candidates for Sr.No:6(i) Post. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Post Graduation degree in Agriculture or Agronomy from a recognized University, experience in relevant field for Sr.No:1 Post, Master’s degree in Physics (Pure/ Applied) or degree in Mechanical/ Metallurgical Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent, experience in relevant field for Sr.No:2 Post, MBBS degree, Post Graduation Degree in the concerned speciality or super speciality, experience in relevant field for Sr.No:3 Post, M.Sc Degree in Biochemistry or Microbioplogy or organic chemistry of recognized university for Sr.No:4 Post, Master’s degree in Linguistics or Bengali from a recognized University or equivalent Proficiency in Bengali Language as a subject at the secondary school level in case of Master of Arts in Linguistics for Sr.No:6(i) Post. Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
