Following positions are available in the DST research grant of Prof. Rajiv K. Saxena, entitled “Uptake and effects of control and target directed carbon nano-particles by differentiating and matured subpopulations of leukocytes in resting and activated states”. These positions will be offered initially for one year but may be extended for one or two additional years.
1. Laboratory Assistant (one):
Qualifications: 12th Class School with science with some experience or working in laboratories, or BSc in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Physics / Chemistry or MLT
Duties: To maintain laboratory, preparing and autoclaving glassware, project related paper-work and record-keeping, help research students. Some experience in using computer will be advantageous.
Salary: Rs. 15,000 PM Consolidated
2. Animal Attendant (one):
Qualifications: Passed 10th class (training will be provided)
Duties: To maintain research mice and rat colonies and helping in animal house and research laboratory.
Salary: Rs. 10,000 PM consolidated
