Minimum qualification for both the positions : Master’s degree in Social or Natural Sciences with research experience in biodiversity and ecosystem services. Preference will be given to those with higher qualifications and expertise in the use of GIS software and web designing.

International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS)

International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of TIFR invites applications for the post (one) of Project Assitant (Accounts) for its office at Bangalore. The individual should be highly motivated person having ‘hands on’ experience in dealing with accounting functions. The selected candidate shall be offered consolidated salary based on qualification and experience. The contract will be initially for a period of one year and may be further extended depending on the performance.

Essential Qualification:

• Graduate in Commerce with Advanced Accountancy, Auditing and Income Tax as subjects with a minimum of  60% marks.
• Knowledge of use of personal computer and its applications
• Minimum three years of work experience in a similar job profile
• Knowledge of Tally ERP 9

Desirable qualification: Candidates with knowledge of financial rules of the Government of India would be preferred.

Job Profile:

To provide necessary support for administering the financial aspects of programming and day-to-day activities of the Centre. To prepare budget for the Centre, including compilation & finalization of accounts and audit.

Upper Age limit: 28 years (as on 1.1.2016)

Tenure: Initial appointment will be for 1 year which may be extended upto 3 years depending upon performance and requirement of the Centre. It is a project appointment.

Location: ICTS campus, Bangalore

Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, and qualification. The selected candidate will be required to join immediately.
