Age Limit: Candidates age should be 18 to 29 years for UR, 18 to 32 years for OBC, 18 to 34 years for SC/ ST as on 01-01-2016. Age relaxation is applicable for serving Railway employees upto 40 years for UR, 43 years for OBC, 45 years SC/ ST and Widows/ Divorced women upto 35 years UR, 38 years OBC & 40 years for SC/ ST as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess HSC or equivalent with 50% marks and Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Music & Synthesizer from Government recognized Institute/ University.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written Examination and interview.

Examination Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- through IPO drawn in favour of Chief Cashier, Western Railway, Chruchgate payable at Mumbai. No fee for SC/ ST/ Ex Servicemen/ PwD and women candidates.
