Ministry of Defence Invites Applications for the Following Posts
1. Fireman - 16 + 01 Post for Ex-serviceman in Fireman
2. Fire Fitter - 01
3. Tin Smith - 01
Educational Qualification:
1. Fireman - 10th Standard pass from a recognized Board.
(ii) Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fittings, fire appliances and equipments fire engines, trailer, pumps, foam branches.
(iii) Must be familiar with the use and maintenance first-aid fire fighting appliances and Trailer Fire Pump.
(iv) Must know elementary principles of Fire Fighting methods employed in fighting different types of fire.
(v) Must be conversant with foot and appliance Fire Service Drills and be able to perform the task allotted to the members of fire crew Must have served in a recognized Civil or Defence Fire Brigade as Fireman Grade II for a minimum period of three years.
(vii) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the physical fitness test as intimated in the advertisement.
2. Fire Fitter - 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.
3. Tin Smith - 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognized Board
Age Limit:
1. Age Limit for the post of Fireman
(a) 18 Years to 25 Years for UR Candidates.
(b) 18 Years to 28 Years for OBC Candidates.
(c) 18 Years to 30 Years for SC Candidates
2. Age Limit for the post of Fire Fitter 18 Years to 25 Years for ALL Candidates.
