Aircraft Technician (Maint./ Aircraft Overhaul/ Engine)
AME Diploma/Certificate in  Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (02 Or 03 years) in Mechanical stream from Institutions approved by DGCA under Rule 133B with 60% marks/equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates). Candidates from DGCA approved AME Training Institutes who are eligible, as per the current list. Diploma in Engineering (3 years) in Mechanical /Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent recognized by Central/State Government with 60% marks/equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates). For Ex-servicemen Successful completion of Group 1 and/or II in the relevant trade or equivalent qualification of Diploma in Engineering in Airframe / Engine trades conducted by the Indian AirForce, which are acceptable as a qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility requirement for BAMEL examination. Or Successful Completion of 4 years course/Diploma in Aircraft Training. or its equivalent trade Training conducted by Indian Navy, which is acceptable as a qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility requirement for BAMEL examination

Aircraft Technician in Avionics (Electrical/ Instrument/ Radio)
AME Diploma/Certificate in Aircraft MaintenanceEngineering (02 Or 03 years) in Avionics stream from Institutions approved by DGCA under Rule 133B with 60% marks/equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates). (Candidates from DGCA approved AME Training Institutes who are eligible, as per current list). Or Diploma in Engineering (3 years) in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/Radio/ Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent recognized by Central/State Government with 60% marks/equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates). i) ITI in concerned trade, recognized by Central/State Government or NCVT in Fitter/ Sheet Metal Trade. ii) Two years in the relevant trade in the Industry (inclusive of experience prior to NCVT) or one year experience in Aviation (inclusive of experience prior to NCVT)

i) ITI in the trade concerned, recognized by Central/State Government or NCVT in Painter trade. ii) Two years in the relevant trade in the Industry (inclusive of experience prior to NCVT) or one year experience in Aviation (inclusive of experience prior to NCVT)

Skilled Trades Men Upholstery / Sewing Technology Trade
i) ITI in Upholstery /Tailoring / Sewing Technology, recognized by Central/State Government or NCVT in Upholstery / Sewing Technology trade. ii) Two years in the relevant trade in the Industry (inclusive of experience prior to NCVT) or one year experience in Aviation (inclusive of experience prior to NCVT)

Skilled Trades Men - X-Ray/ NDT Trade
i) BSc. (Physics) or Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or BE (B.Tech) in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering. ii) Two years’ experience in the NDT field or one year experience in Aviation NDT field

i) ITI in the trade concerned, recognized by Central/State Government or NCVT in Welder trade. ii) Two years in the relevant trade in the Industry (inclusive of experience prior to NCVT) or one year experience in Aviation (inclusive of experience prior to NCVT)

i) Matric/ SSC/ SSLC passed (preferably with Physics, Chemistry and Maths) with successful completion of National Apprenticeship certificate in Mill-Wright Mechanics (Maint) Mechanics Motor Vehicle/Diesel/Tractor, (preferably in an Airline Industry/MRO). Or Matric/SSC/SSLC passed (preferably with Physics, Chemistry and Maths) with ITI Certificate in Mill Wright Mechanics (Maint) Mechanics (Motor Vehicle/Diesel/Tractor). Or Matric/SSC/SSLC passed and successful completion of Group I and/or II in the relevant trade in the Industry, including Motor Transport Maintenance conducted by India Air Force. ii) Two years in the relevant trade in the Industry Or one year experience in the relevant trade in the Aviation Industry.
