Age Limit:- The age of the candidates applying for the position of technical officer should be 30 years. The age of the candidates applying for the position of technical officer should be as on 31^st October 2015.

Qualification:- candidates applying for the position of technical officer should have first class engineering degree in electronics and communication with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized institution / university with minimum 2 year post – qualification experience in hardware testing / trouble shooting and maintenance of large VME based control system in power plants.

Selection Process:- The selection of the candidates applying for the position of technical officer will be based on walk – in – interview that will be held at ECIL zonal office, Panagal building ground floor 1A, Jeenis road, Saidapet, Chennai:- 600015 on 18^th November 2015 at 09.00 HRS to 1400 HRS.

Age Relaxation:- The upper age limit of the candidates applying for the position of technical officer is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.

i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST communities.

ii) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.

iii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.

iv) By 5 years for candidates belonging to PH communities.

Experience:- Candidates applying for the position of technical officer should have minimum 2 year post – qualification experience in hardware testing / trouble shooting and maintenance of large VME based control system in power plants.
