The Centre on Geo-informatics Application in Rural Development (CGARD), NIRDPR, Hyderabad, proposes to conduct a ‘Walk-in-Interview’ on 8 th December 2015 at National Institute of Rural Development &Panchayati Raj the following positions in the Project purely temporary on contract basis and co-terminus with the Projects. Posting will be at Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The educational qualifications, experience and the remuneration are indicated below which are as follows.

Name of position:Project Scientist 

Consolidated remuneration (in Rs/pm) :20,000 

Essential qualification: 

1.Minimum MSc Degree in Geoinformatics/Geography/Geology

2.Minimum 2 Years of field experience , related to Agriculture Thematic Map Preparation and data collection

Desirable / Experience:

1.Should have knowledge in ArcGIS/Erdas Imagine/open source GIS

2. Should be well versed with Technical Documentation. 

3. Should have experience in Field Surveys &Research 

4.Having Working Knowledge in the GPS Operations.

Age for the Post should be below 30 years as on the date of Interview. The candidates who fulfil the qualifications / experience may submit their CV on the day of interview duly indicating the post applied for and bring with them the original certificates of qualification / experience for verification.(Candidates with original certificate only will be allowed to attend the selection process) 

It is essential that the candidates should register themselves before 10 AM on the day of interview so as to be permitted to attend the Test / Interview. The Interview will take place from 1.00 pm onwards for the posts at the indicated venue. They should also come prepared to take a Written Test as the case may be. 

Candidates should come prepared for attending the Written Test / Trade Test / Personal Interview at their own cost. No TA / DA will be given for attending the Walk-inInterview.
