WALK-IN-INTERVIEW 

Eligible candidates are invited to attend a walk-in-Interview with all relevant documents for the position of  Jr . Research Fellow (on contractual basis) to work in the  project “Food safety interventions for women in fishery based micro enterprises in coastal Kerala” Department of Science and Technology.    The engagement of project will be up to May, 2016 / co-terminus with the scheme.

 Jr.Research Fellow -1  post

1.	Fellowship	Rs.25000/- p.m + 20% HRA
2.	Qualification	MFSC/M.Sc in Industrial  Fisheries /Microbiology (Candidates should have Bachelors Degree of 4/5 years and if 3 years Bachelors degree should have NET qualification.)
3.	Age	35 years for men and 40 years for women as on the date of interview

Terms & Conditions:

1. Registration will begin at 8.30 a.m and will close at 10.30 am
2. Age relaxation of 3 year for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates is permissible.
3. Candidates are required to submit self-attested copies of all the Certificates in support of their claims    regarding age, educational qualifications, scheduled caste/scheduled tribe/OBC etc.  The original certificates shall be produced for verification before the interview.
4. Candidates should bring detailed bio-data (in the enclosed format)  affixing a recent passport size photograph.
5. The selected candidate will be recruited on contract basis under ICAR norms.  The post is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project.

1.       Technical Assistant  – 1 (post)

Remuneration   :   Rs. 12,000/- pm (consolidated) 

Qualification      :  Graduate

Experience         :  Sea going experience and knowledge of computer

2.       Fishing  Assistant – 1 (post)

Fellowship         :   Rs. 12000- pm (consolidated) 

Qualification      :  10+2

Experience        :    3 years  experience  going on board private trawlers for multi day operations as well as Sea going experience

            Terms & Conditions:

2. Age limit (as on 17.7.2015) :  Below 40 years  
3. Age relaxation of 3 year for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates is permissible.
4. Candidate must be willing to travel widely should go on board private vessels.

Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification

Qualification must be from recognized university or Institute and the relevant post- qualification experience in the concerned field.

• For Post 1: Candidates should possess Ph. D. Degree in Fisheries or MF.Sc. in Fisheries Engineering or M. Sc. in the appropriate field with the relevant experience in the concerned field.

• For Post 2: Candidates should possess MF.Sc. in Fisheries Engineering or M. Sc. in the appropriate field with the relevant experience in the concerned field.

Age Limit

• For Post 1:  Not exceeding 40 years (for men) and 45 years (for women).
• For Post 2:  Not exceeding 35 years (for men) and 40 years (for women).
