(a) Essential I) Diploma in Electronics or Telecommunication or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized Institution. (II).One year’s practical experience in installation and maintenance of wireless transmitters, receivers, aerial systems and associated power plants in the Central Government or the state Government or a Public Sector Undertaking or any autonomous body. (b) Desirable :- One year’s experience in handling of Radar or microwave Communication equipments in the Central Government or the State Government or a Public Sector Undertaking or any body. Note:- The qualification regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the Central Government in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and The Scheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection the Central Government is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them
