Educational Qualification:

The candidate should have passed Matriculation (10th) or its equivalent from a recognized board or university for skilled trades (i.e. Barber, Boot Maker, Cook, Carpenter, Electrician, Mason, Mali, Painter, Plumber and Washer Man). Industrial Training Institute trained personnel will be preferred. 

The candidate should have passed Matriculation (10th) or its equivalent from a recognized board or university for unskilled trades (i.e. Sweeper).

Age Limit: (As on 01.08.2017)

(i) Between 18 to 23 years The crucial date for determining age limit will be 01.08.2017 for the candidates including for the candidates of North East Region for all trades.

(ii) Upper age limit of 5 years shall be admissible to all persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of J & K during the period from 1st January’1980 to 31st December’1989. The person claiming relaxation under this category should produce a certificate to the effect that they had been domiciled in the state of J&K during the period from 1st January’1980 to 31st December’1989 from the District Magistrate within whose jurisdiction they had ordinarily resided or from any other authority designated in this behalf by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 21-27 years as on 19-11-2016 including for the candidates of North East Region. Age relaxation 5 years is applicable to those persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989 & for other refer notification.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Written Test, Trade Test, Driving Test, Physical Efficiency Test & Medical Examination.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 25/- through demand draft. (The details of authority to whom the appeal should be submitted and DDO concerned and payable branch etc will be mentioned in the rejection slip itself to be issued by the Examining Medical Officer/ Chairman of the Recruitment Board).

How to Apply: Eligible candidates send their application in the prescribed format along with two self addressed envelopes (8×19 cms size) duly affixing postal stamps for Rs.22/- each, attested photocopies of all relevant certificates as mentioned in the notification, experience, two additional self signed (in the front) passport size photographs to the concerned address on or before 19-11-2016 & for North East region residents 26-11-2016.
