Educational Qualification:

For Experienced Cabin Crew - 10+2 from a Government recognized Board/ University

For Trainee Cabin Crew - Graduation

OR 10+2 and Three years degree/diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology or Travel & Tourism (Government recognized courses)

Experience: (For Experienced Cabin Crew):

Must be presently working as Cabin Crew in a scheduled airline with minimum one year of experience as Cabin Crew and having a valid SEP for Airbus or Boeing family aircraft, as on the date of application. However, in case of candidates working in a foreign airline and meeting the other laid down parameters of eligibility criteria, in place of SEP, candidates may produce alternate documents

Physical and Medical Standards

HEIGHT:

Male: Minimum 172 cms Female: Minimum 160 cms {Relaxation of 2.5 cms for SC/ST candidates & those from North East states & hilly states (Subject to Domicile/Caste proof

2. BMI:

Male : Between 18 to 25 (Body Mass Female : Between 18 to 22 Index) (as specified in CAR issued by DGCA for Females). Formula for calculating BMI = Weight in Kgs Height in meters X Height in meters

3. Vision: - Near Vision: N/5 in better eye and N/6 in worst eye. -Distant vision: 6/6 in one eye & 6/9 in another eye -Spectacles not allowed. -Contact lenses up to + 2D permitted

4. Colour Vision: Normal on Ishihara/Tokyo Medical College (TMC) Chart.

5. Speech: Clear speech, no stammering, lisping. Command of the English language should be with clear understandable accent.

Language: -Fluency in English and Hindi. -Candidates having fluency in any Foreign Language of destination where Air India operates will be given preference

Age Limit:

1. Experience Cabin Crew {Between18 and 35 Years} - {Relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC/ST and 3 years in case of OBC}

2. TRAINEE CABIN CREW {between 18 and 27 Years} - {Relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC/ST and 3 years in case of OBC}

Pay Scale: Rs.15, 000/- per month

Application Fee:

A non-refundable Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) in favour of AIR INDIA LIMITED, payable at Delhi It may be noted that in case a candidate fails to meet the physical/medical parameters and declared Unfit on this account, the demand draft will not be returned.

Candidates would be required to fill the details of Demand Draft on line and submit the same at the time of Selection Exercise (Not applicable for SC/ST candidates). The candidates are also required to bring duly signed print out of the application form along with one Passport Size photograph

For SC/ST/OBC candidates only- Caste Certificate details - such as date of issuance and issuing authority. (Candidates belonging to OBC categories must be in possession of caste certificate in the prescribed proforma issued by the appropriate authority for Central Government employment.)
