Educational Qualification:

1. Seaman - i) X class pass or equivalent. ii) Three years experience in seagoing mchanized vessel with two years in helmsman and seamanship work.

2. Greaser - i) X class pass or equivalent. ii) Three years experience in seagoing mechanized vessel on main and auxiliary machine maintenance seamanship work.

3. Skipper Mate - i) Holding of 2nd hand certificate of fishing vessels issued by MMD. i) X class or equivalent ii) 5 years sea experience.

4. Engine Driver - i) Eight standard pass. ii) 10 years experience in sea going vessel with 5 years on independent auxiliary machinery

5. Sukhani - i) Matriculation or equivalent. ii) 7 years service on sea going vessel with 2 years experience in independent handling of mechanized craft.

6. Launch Mechanic - i) Matriculation or equivalent. ii) 5 years service on sea going vessel with one year on independent charge of engine and auxiliary

7. Unskilled Industrial Worker - i) Xth class or equivalent. ii) Should be fit for strenuous physical labour.

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should be between 18 to 25 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules

Pay Scale:

1. Seaman - Rs. 18000- 56900/-

2. Greaser - Rs. 18000- 56900/-

3. Skipper Mate - Rs. 35400- 112400/-

4. Engine Driver - Rs. 25500-81100/-

5. Sukhani - Rs. 25500-81100/-

6. Launch Mechanic - Rs. 25500-81100/-

7. Unskilled Industrial Worker - Rs. 18000- 56900/-
