Educational Qualification:
I. Graduate Apprentice Trainees (B.E/B.Tech./Equivalent) - A degree in engineering or technology granted by a statutory University/ by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament Graduate examination of professional bodies recognised by the Central Government as equivalent to a degree/ Sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order that he/she may hold a degree in engineering or technology.
II. Diploma Apprentice Trainees - A diploma in engineering or technology granted by a State Council Board of Technical Education established by a State Government /by an University/ by an Institute recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma/ Sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order that he/she may hold a diploma in Engg. Technology
III. ITI Apprentice Trainees - a) A certificate in vocational Course involving two years of study after the completion of the secondary stage of school education recognised by the All India Council for Technical education. b) A sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order that he may hold a certificate mentioned in (a) above


Age Limit: (As on 01.09.2017)
Candidate’s Age Limit be between 18 to 27 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.


Stipend:
B.E./B.Tech./Eqvt.: Rs.4984/- per month
Diploma Rs.3542/- per month
ITI 90% of the wages payable per month to the semi-skilled workmen as fixed by latest Karnataka Govt. Gazette Notification


Candidates will be selected based on Merit List, Interview, Medical Fitness
1. Graduate Apprentice Trainees (B.E/B.Tech. Equivalent): Selection of candidates will be carried out by short listing of candidates on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and vacancies available in the discipline followed by an interview.
2. Diploma Apprentice Trainees ITI Apprentice Trainees: There would be no interview for Diploma and ITI trades. Candidates would be selected based only on marks obtained in the qualifying exam subject to satisfactory medical fitness.
