A walk in Interview will be held in the Institute of Wood Science & Technology, 18th cross, Malleswaram, Bangalore on 11th February, 2016 at 11 am for the position of SRF, in following research project. All India Project on Conservation, improvement and bioresource development of sandal wood (Santalum albumL.) (2013-16)
  1. National medicinal Plant Board (NMPB) funded.
  2. Position: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
  3. Qualifications: M.Sc. Bio technology
  4. Essential Experience: Minimum 2 years of Research Experience in Molecular Biology Techniques
  5. Desirable: NET qualification.
  6. Project period: Upto September 2016
  7. Salary: Rs.20,000/- for the candidate having 2 years of proven research experience. Rs.28,000/- for the candidate having 2 years of proven research experience with NET qualification.
 Selection Procedure :
  1. Written Test on 11/02/2016
  2. Shortlisted candidates will undertake face to face interview.
  3. Dates are yet to be announced for the final selection
 Walkin Procedure ? :
The upper age limit for SRF shall be 32 years and which may be relaxed upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes, Women, Physically Handicapped and 3 years for OBC applicants. The appointment will be purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project in September, 2016. The engagement shall not be treated as regular employment by ICFRE / IWST. Candidate should bring application on plain paper along with Bio-data, experience certificate, photocopies of the mark sheets, and original certificates (for verification) at the time of the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
