1. APPLICATION FORM FOR RECRUITMENT OF TECHNICAL POSTS (Head of Division – Sugar Technology / Head of Division – Sugar Engineering / Distillery Chemist / Environment Engineer
2. Qualification/Experience/age required for the post of Head of Division-Sugar Technology :01 post (General Merit(GM)) in the pay scale of Rs.37,400 – 67000/- (Indian Council of Agricultural Research and State – Karnataka (ICAR)) Essential : Degree in Science / Engineering with (i) Associateship in Sugar Technology awarded by National Sugar Institute, Kanpur OR (ii) Post Graduate Diploma in Sugar Technology from a recognized University /Institute or Equivalent. Minimum 18 years’ Experience in working Sugar Factory, out of which 8 years rich experience as Head of the Department in Modern Sugar Factory having Crushing capacity 5000 TCD and above with Co-gen Power plant. OR Minimum 18 years’ experience in Teaching/ Research in the field of Sugar Technology in a reputed Sugar Institute, duly accomplished with research publications. Age: above 45 years and below 60 years. Person who knows Kannada language is preferred.
3. Qualification/Experience/age required for the post of Head of Division-Sugar Engineering :01 post (GM) in the pay scale of Rs.37,400 – 67000/- (ICAR) Essential : Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University /Institute or Equivalent. Minimum 18 years’ Experience in working Sugar Factory, out of which 8 years rich experience as Head of the Department in Modern Sugar Factory having Crushing capacity 5000 TCD and above with Co-gen Power plant. OR Minimum 18 years’ experience in Teaching/ Research in the field of Sugar Engineering in a reputed Sugar Institute, duly accomplished with research publications. Age: above 45 years and below 60 years. Person who knows Kannada language is preferred. Desirable: i. Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute. ii. Associateship of National Sugar Institute in Sugar Engineering awarded by the National Sugar Institute or equivalent
4. Qualification/Experience/age required for the post of Environment Engineer: : 01 post (GM)) in the pay scale of Rs.22,800 – 43,200/- (State Govt. Scale) BE in Environmental Engineering / Environmental studies with minimum of 5 years experience as Environmental Engineer in working sugar factory / distillery Age: above 35 years and below 60 years. Person who knows Kannada language is preferred.
5. Qualification/Experience/age required for the post of Distillery Chemist:01 post (GM)) in the pay scale of Rs.28,100 – 50,100/- (State Govt. Scale) Graduate in Alcohol Technology with ANSI/AVSI with minimum of 5 years experience as Distillery Chemist in working distillery unit. Age: above 35 years and below 60 years. Person who knows Kannada language is preferred.

3. For the post of Head of Division – Sugar Technology the experiences in the post of Shift Chemist, Chemist, Dy. Chief Chemist, Addl. Chief Chemist, Chief Chemist are to be considered as middle & above level. Experiences in the post of Junior Chemist/Supervisor or its equivalent are to be considered as lower level.
4. For the post of Head of Division – Sugar Engineering the experiences in the post of Shift Engg.,Engineer, Dy. Chief Engineer, Addl. Chief Engineer, Chief Engineer are to be considered as middle & above level. Experiences in the post of Junior Engineer/Foreman or its equivalent are to be considered as lower level.
5. For the post of Environment Engineer the experiences in the post of Assistant Engineer / Sr. Engineer / Dy. Chief Engineer / Chief Engineer or its equivalent and above are to be considered as middle and above level. Experiences in the post of Officer / Jr. Engineer / Trainee / Assistant / Instructor or its equivalent are to be considered as lower level.
6.  For the post of Distillery Chemist the experiences in the post of Shift Chemist / Chemist / Dy. Chief Chemist / Chief Chemist or its equivalent and above are to be considered as middle and above level. Experiences in the post of Trainee Chemist / Jr. Chemist / Assistant Chemist / Instructor or its equivalent are to be considered as lower level.
7. Working sugar factories / distillery / Co-generation experience shall be provided with the performance of the sugar factory as mentioned in Sl. No. 13& 14 of the application form.
8. The duly filled application in prescribed Proforma with annexure is to be sent to Director, National Sugar Institute, Kalyanpur, Kanpur -208017 so as to reach latest by 22 Jan 2016
