IRCON INTERNATIONAL LIMITED is a premier schedule “A” infrastructure Public Sector Enterprise under Ministry of Railways engaged in the construction of turnkey infrastructure projects in Railways, Highways, Buildings, Power sectors, etc. The Company has recorded a turnover of more than Rs. 4000 crores in the year 2013-14. The company has successfully completed large value Railway Projects in India and abroad including Malaysia, Bangladesh, Algeria, Iraq, Syria, etc. The Company invites applications for the post of Works Engineer/Electrical & Site Supervisors/Electrical on contract basis for one year at fixed all inclusive salary for posting at its R-APDRP Project Jammu , J&K

1. Total No of Post : 42 Posts
2. Qualification (As on 01.01.2016): Full time Degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks/ Full time Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks
3. Post Qualification Experience as on 01.01.2016: Minimum 01 year experience in Electrical Construction Industry/ Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Electrical Construction Industry.
4. Salary : Rs. 15,500 – 23,500/- p.m.

Selection Procedure:

1. Candidates can apply on or before  19/01/2016
2. Walk-in- Interview. Details regarding Walk-in-Interview is mentioned in paraC-2 below: A The above posts are specifically for the Ircon’s R-APDRP Projects at Jammu, J&K and not for the regular establishment of IRCON. The appointment will be initially for one year, extendable further till completion of the project if the services of the candidates are found to be satisfactory. However, the appointment is co-terminus with the project and will not confer any right to claim absorption in regular establishment of the company or for appointment in other projects of the company. B-1 An Insurance cover of Rs. 20 Lakhs for WE and 15 Lakhs for SS, will be given. B-2 Reimbursement for indoor treatment for self at the place of posting only would be permissible. B-3 Minimum PF as prescribed under the EPF & MP Act 1952 will be deducted from the salary and a matching contribution will be made by IRCON. The accumulations will be paid at the time of cessation of contract. B-4 One leave for each calendar month of service can be availed during the contract period. Leave can be carried forward and accumulated but no leave encashment for unavailed leave is allowed during the contract or on resignation or termination of contract. No other type of leave would be admissible. B-5 One weekly off and other public holidays when the project office remains closed would be available. B-6 TA/DA would also be admissible if deputed on outstation duty. B-7 Working hours will be the same as for the project. B-8 No other perks or benefits would be admissible except the above. B-9 The ex-employees of Ircon, whose services were terminated due to closure of projects can also apply for these posts if they fulfil the required qualifications and experience. A copy of the termination letter should be sent along with the application. This appointment will be subject to their satisfactory performance and shall be co-terminus with the project. The persons so appointed for this project will have no claim for their absorption in regular establishment of the Company or for appointment in other projects of the company

1. Application typed on A-4 size paper in the format given below should be addressed and sent to General Manager/Electrical, Ircon International Ltd., as per address given in table below accompanied with the self attested photocopies of the following documents : a) Matriculation Certificate (for age proof); b) Self Attested copy of Certificate of essential Qualification (Full Time only) Degree/Diploma. & mark sheets of Degree/Diploma. c) Certificates of other professional qualifications, if any; d) Certificates in proof of experience, if any ,as applicable, clearly projecting the requisite experience indicating the length and line of experience as per eligibility conditions/criteria; e) Certificate in support of claim of belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Classes, Ex-serviceman, wherever applicable. Please note that the candidates belonging to OBC category have to submit the latest financial year OBC certificate in centre format applicable for appointment for posts under Govt. of India (in the format annexed at the end of this advertisement). f) No Objection Certificate(NOC) from present employer if working with Govt./PSU’s/Autonomous Bodies & g) Complete set of self attested photocopies of all the above mentioned certificates.
2. Applicants may send their application in advance or Applicants who consider themselves as eligible should straightway report for the walk-in-interview as per the following schedule. No interview call letters will be issued as this is a walk-in-interview.
3. Only such applicants will be interviewed who are eligible as per the eligibility criteria. Applicants are, therefore, advised to check their eligibility thoroughly while applying so as to avoid disappointment at a later stage. The applicants must bring the original certificates in proof of age, community, educational qualifications , experience etc (as per the documents mentioned in point C1 above) while coming for the interview failing which the interview of the candidate will not be held.
4. Incomplete or vague applications will be rejected summarily. Applications not in the prescribed format will also not be entertained.
5. Applicants working in Govt./PSUs may note that this is a short duration contract post and even for these posts they have to produce NOC at the time of interview and resign from their parent organization on their selection.
