ADVERTISEMENT FOR SELECTION OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)

A walk-in interview will be held in the office of the Adhyaksha (Principal), Siksha-Bhavana, VisvaBharati, Santiniketan-731235 on 29/12/2015, at 11:00 am to recruit one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in a CSIR funded research project [No. 38(1410)/15/EMR-II] entitled “Exploring Extreme Saline Environment to Understand Transport Mediated Ionic Liquid Resistance Mechanism by Functional Metagenomics: A Step Forward Towards Lignocellulosic Bioenergy" under the supervision of Dr. Bomba Dam, PhD (P.I), Department of Botany, Visva-Bharati. Interested candidates are requested to send soft copy of their Biodata through email to bomba.dam@visvabharati.ac.in. The detail requirement of the JRF is as given bellow: 

Qualifications: The candidates must be CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualified with M.Sc. with 55% minimum marks in Botany, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Zoology or related subjects in Life Sciences. 

Fellowship: As per CSIR rules with admissible allowances. 

Age: Not more than 28 years (relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/physically handicapped/woman candidate) 

Duration: Tenure is expected to be three years / terminate with the termination of the project Applications with copy of different academic documents have to be submitted on the date of interview. (Candidates have to produce the original documents during the interview).
