Tea Board of India

A walk-in-interview will be held as per following schedule from 10.00 a.m. onward at the Tea Board of India, 14, BTM Sarani, Kolkata- 700 001 for engaging 

1. One Quality Control Manager and two Research Fellows for Quality Control Laboratory, Siliguri and 

2. One Farm Supervisor and two Research Fellows for Darjeeling Tea Research and Development Centre (DTR&DC), Tea Board, Kurseong purely on temporary basis initially for a period of one year, which may be extended based on performance. 

Date of Interview: 26th September, 2015 for Quality Control Manager and Research Fellows 

Date of Interview: 27 th September, 2015 for Farm Supervisor 

A. Quality Control Manager (1 post): Rs. 45,000/- (Consolidated)

Essential qualifications: Ph.D in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Microbiology or Food Technology with good academic record. Must have a valid training certificate on ISO/IEC 17025:2005. 

Desirable qualifications: Five years experience in Food Sector and working experience in Analytical Laboratory. Well conversant with requirements of national and international regulatory bodies. Well conversant in handling hi-tech machines like LC MS, ICPMS, GC MS etc.

Age: Not more than 45 years as on 01.01.2015.

B. Farm Supervisor (1 post): Rs. 25,000/- (Consolidated)

 Essential Qualifications: Bachelors degree in science with adequate skill in computers. 

Desirable qualifications: MBA with specialization in HRM, Knowledge of the tea plantation, ability to communicate with Plantation workers, sound leadership qualities, presence of mind, quick thinking, courage to face and settle labour disputes. 

Age: Not more than 35 years as on 01.01.2015. C. Research Fellows (4 posts-2 for QCL and 2 for DTR&DC): Rs. 16,000/- (Consolidated) 

Interested candidates for the above posts are requested to appear in person directly in the interview with application along with bio-data, attested copies of certificates, mark sheets and testimonials. Registration for appearing in the interview will be allowed up to 11.00 a.m. No candidate will be allowed for the registration after 11.00 am. The candidates are also requested to bring all the original testimonials for verification. 

No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
