Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), an statutory organization under the Govt of India, Ministry of Consumer Affairs and Public Administration had announced its Recruitment Project-2013. Under the BIS recruitment 2013 the Organization is planning to recruit 198 people for Group-B and Group-C Posts.

BIS Recruitment 2013 : Vacancy Details
BIS had advertised a Total of 198 vacancies for Group-B and Group C posts. Here is post-wise break-up of these vacancies.
- Technical Assistant: 97 posts
- Lower Division Clerk : 46 posts
- Jr. Stenographer: 21 posts
- Assistant: 17 posts
- Stenographer: 15 posts
- Jr. Translator (Hindi) : 2 posts
What is the Eligibility Criteria ?
Applicants are required to full fill the below mentioned eligibility conditions
Age Limit: For Assistant and Stenographer Posts, applicants must be aged between 18 to 30 years. For all other posts, applicants must be aged between 18 to 27 years.
Educational Qualifications: Applicants applying for these posts, must have completed Graduation in any Discipline for Assistant post. For Detailed post -wise Education Qualification criteria, please refer to thenotification
Selection Process: The Selection Process for the above mentioned posts shall consists of a Written tests and followed by Skill Test / Interview. The Date of Written Exam will be announced soon.
How to Apply ?
Applicants satisfying the above mentioned Eligibility criteria are required to apply Online in between 27th April, 2013 to 24th May, 2013.
Application Fee: Applicants need to pay Non-Refundable amount of Rs 350 and Rs 500 (Plus Rs 35 as Transaction Charges) through a System Generated chellan form, in any SBI Branch. Here is the post wise break-up of application fees.
Online Application: Only Online Application is allowed for all these posts. So candidates need to apply Online at the Official Website (www.bis.org.in) in between the 27th April, 2013 to 24th May, 2013. Before applying online, candidates must have their Scanned photo and Signature, as it is required at the time of Submitting the Online Application.
After submitting the Online application, applicants must take the Print out of the System Generated Challan form and Deposit the Application fees. It is only after depositing the fee, the Registration is successful
